So I say again, you guys are childish losers who have no life. (Other than to play online-only games.) ((Generalization on my part.))
isnt that a bit hypocritical, you know this is a forum for an Online only type of game.... and for mw2, most ppl i know are not buying the game now, forcing us to play with the s*** machmaking system is just too much! And its sad that ppl think that a 8hrs max singleplayergame is worth 60 bucks

Re: Modern Warfare 2 = PC FAIL
I played COD4 competitively and was really looking forward to MW2. But I cannot play COD4 on anything but Promod.
After this news, I doubt I will even buy the game. Unless things change, the most I'd do is buy it like a year or two down the road when it's in the bargain bin, because I am sure the singleplayer will be good for a weekend of fun.
But as a competitive multiplayer shooter, it just won't cut it for me. :/

im sorry, but IW are just trash for this move, i just found out about this yesterday, and i raged and pretending like the wii doesnt exist is crap too, screw you IW, there is just no redeeming, i hope MW2 fails, ill pick it up in 3 years for 2 dollars at a gas station kyonu wrote: I agree. look, i probably wouldnt play online anyways, but its the fact that they ditched the support in the first place, that single player will last 10 hours, if you milk it, the multiplayer will make up for the other 30-40 bucks you pay for the game, so why is it that if you pay for content, it shouldnt be supported? thats like the people who seriously defend valve with the lies about dlc for l4d, when they finally did release a new campaign, it was 2 levels long, and even on the hardest difficulty took only 10-15 minutes, i didnt pay 50 freaking dollars for a 3 hour game with the promise of valves fan winning support, to get shafted a year later with a crap tack on to make up for an expansion pack at full price any time you pay for something, you are entitled to the quality of your money, thats how it works, and if IW refuses to deliver on their half, everyone needs to stop playing "firsties" with the game, and show them you mean business, and you wont take anything less than what you payed for, maybe one day, gaming will get its "john galt" moment, and the industry will finally be forced to change in a way that shows progress beyond niche gaming

I have lost complete respect for IW. They are spitting in the faces of the PC Community, the community that made them as big as they are.
There is no real logical reason behind this other than to save money. Its a really bad move for IW and Activision.
I have no interest with having any business with IW anymore.

I disagree slightly with that statments, first off i got more then the 50$ i bought l4d at (though i wont be buying l4d2 dont like that much blood) [i had a mod that turned all blood off in l4d] also, buyer beware. if they had held it a secret then on release day said it, i would be MAD, but buyer beware. this is why i dont preorder at all

any one can shed some light in this? You log onto IW.net and find a game on their servers instead of having your own.
